Hanwha Q Cells Solar Panel is a global provider of comprehensive energy solutions. Our expertise spans the whole solar value chain, from cells and modules through residential, commercial, and industrial structures, as well as huge solar power plants.
The Hanwha Group has evolved Hanwha Q CELLS into the world’s leading producer of solar cells and modules since it entered the solar energy market in 2010. China, Malaysia, South Korea, and the United States are all part of our existing production networks.
It continued to invest in R&D and manufacturing innovations, fueled by strong revenue and a desire to stay ahead of growing global demand. In 2015, our Malaysia plant, which was the first of its kind in the market, was able to generate more than 1GW of Q.ANTUM cells yearly.
We entered the US market in Q1 2019 and began our expansion into the country by constructing a 1.7GW capacity module facility in the US state of Georgia.
Q.ANTUM is based on PERC cell technology, which provides monocrystalline efficiency for multi-crystalline module cells.
At the Solar Industry Awards, 2015 in Hamburg, Germany, the multi-crystalline Q.ANTUM module Q.PLUS earned the Module Manufacturing Innovation award.
Hanwha Q CELLS has won the Intersolar Award in Photovoltaics for the past two years at Intersolar, Europe’s most renowned solar energy conference and exhibition.
The Photovoltaics category was also won by our Q.PEAK RSF L-G4.2 steel-frame module in 2017.
In June of the following year, our Q.PEAK DUO-G5 solar module won again in the Photovoltaics category, with the Intersolar jury panel praising our 120 half-cells, six-busbar monocrystalline unit as the new benchmark for residential and commercial ceiling.
Local installers chose Hanwha Q CELLS as one of the finest PV producers, and the company won the Top Brand PV Seal 2019 from EuPD Research for the sixth time in Europe and the fourth time in Australia.
The R&D center is in Thalheim, Germany, and our R&D network stretches across China, Malaysia, and South Korea.
